Fly Fishing Michigan Rivers Guide Service

Michigan Fly Fishing

Welcome to Fly Fishing Michigan Rivers  Guide Service.  We
specialize in fly fishing techniques to target Trout, Steelhead, and
Salmon, as well as other species including Bass, Pike, and Walleye.
Our home rivers are mainly the Pere Marquette and Muskegon, but
many other northern Michigan rivers are available.

The Pere Marquette, or the "PM" as it is often called, was the first
river in North America where the German Brown Trout were planted
back in the 1880's.  The PM also receives healthy runs of Steelhead,
Chinook, and Coho Salmon.   In addition to being one of the best
fisheries in the state, the PM is also designated as a Wild National
Scenic River.  The PM starts a few miles southeast of the town of
Baldwin in Lake County.  It meanders back and forth for over 60
miles of river before dumping into Lake Michigan on the south side
of Ludington ,giving way to many types of fishing opportunities.

The Muskegon is the second largest river in the state and begins to
the north near Houghton Lake.  It continues many miles before its
first of three dams in Rogers Heights, just south of my hometown of
Big Rapids.  The "Mo" is a mixed bag fishery containing plenty of
Bass, Pike, Walleye, Trout, and many others throughout this journey.
As it heads to Lake Michigan from its last dam near Newaygo, the
Mo also receives healthy runs of Steelhead and Salmon.

We will do our best to fit your fly fishing destination.  We are open
for targeting all types of fish, given that we meet all State and
Federal regulations.  From Salmon to Bluegills, we ensure that you
will enjoy your experience in beautiful northern Michigan.
